Over the last four weekends, thanks to our volunteers, we were able to visit key winter shelters of important colonies in the municipalities of Asenovgrad and Peshtera. Тhe caves and the beautiful nature around them are attractive and they are often visited by people.

Despite the snow, together with the volunteers we managed to reach all the caves and the whole initiative was accompanied by beautiful views, pleasant conversations and laughter. In addition to the volunteers, we were able to tell about the flying mammals also to the people, whom we met around the caves and on the forest paths. 

We would like to thank you for the great interest in our initiative shown by so many people. We can’t wait to see you again this summer, when it is the other important period in the life of bats.
