Conservation of cave-dwelling bat species

The project aims to conserve seven species of cave-dwelling bats by restoring and maintaining the entrances and microclimatic conditions of seven caves (Sedlarkata, Emenska, Magurata, Uhlovitsa, Snezhanka, Biserna, and Mandrata), all located within Natura 2000 protected sites. The measures include installing bat-friendly gates and signage to regulate access, removing vegetation, and reducing artificial lighting.
